Leviathan and luck

i read some around the web about Leviathan .

some site said , the luck to receive artifact come from the one trow the fishing net .

other site said , the one make more dmg get the luck receive an artifact .

So what realy , if some one with 100% chance get artifact trow the fisher net does all party have same luck ? the ppl make less dmg don't get any chance getting one ?


how does the luck work on shard ? i know doom no need luck to get artifact in gauntlet is there ohter side luck don't work and it's only a fixe % get it

dont need luck as in on gear for artifacts or capt jack cutlass its more just actual luck of draw as extremely low drop rate for finding it . and most times most people do leviathan solo not in group here no real need mule or two can take him down hes not really stronger then a guantlet boss.
