as it is now, powerscrolls are easily farmed, and if you solo a champ 6 drop in your pack.

the MOA however is capped at 3 per person, so to get 6 you would need to do it with multiple persons.

i suggest we cap all champs at 2 scrolls per person.

thus ensuring their rarity, unless 3 people band together and get social for maximum result.

Hehe finally someone that thinks like me :D Not just "i want to get rich quicker".

Well i think that they're on about the right level right now, the good ones going for around 1 million gold which i suppose is healthy. I would however make all champs drop PSs the same way as MOA does, per-person, to promote group killing and not soloing.

I think this sounds Great.. The rarity on 110s has plummeted quite a bit lately :/ I dont even bother selling mine since the hazzle is too much for 5k per ps more or less. So a change that the champs only drop 2 per person would be awesome :)

Would probably make it drop like:
1 person killing: 1 PS
2 people killing: 3 PS (one of them gets two)
3 people killing: 5 PS (two of them get two)
4 and more: 6-7 PSs (distributed randomly).

So if most champs were killed by 3 people or more, the PS inflow would remain about the same. Since many champs are done by just 2 people, that would get the flow in half. So i expect that this would be an approx 20-30% decrease of all scrolls. Meaning an expected roughly 25% increase in price.

O yes and there's something on my mind for a long time: that the gold drop from the champ would be proportionate to the champ itself... so the barracoon would drop less gold on the floor as lord oaks for example.

Then Make sure Krieger and Doc Apoc drops millions :lol:

That sound very nice colibri, thats a sure way to get more vets to bring friends :)

I do agree with this idea. But I must interject my opinion...not a new thing for me. I do wish there were more or more frequent spawns. I was blessed to do Ricktor with Old man but usually im stuck running and checking MoA and Baracoon to see if they are up....usually they are not. I would like to see them drop one ps for a solo or more for more people but actually finding one open is a challange in itself. the ones that are do-able for one or 2 people. I may be wrong and if so please let me know.
I would like to see the wiki updated by a vet with the difficulity level for all the spawns.

Well i can double the spawn times but then i'd have to cut the gold and powerscrolls in half. Right now i see our economy holding which is a very good thing and i intend to keep it this way. I suppose i come from the same school as Trichet :p

The whole "more champ spawns" was already discussed here:

But i might make a tool for checking whether a champ spawn is available, it will however cost about 5-10k gold (or equiv in tokens) to check one champ spawn.

Love the idea of a spawn check tool!
Also wouldnt mind the idea of lowering the gold and ps's either. I like doing them because its a fun challange the gold is just a perk as well as ps's :D
I dont think Champing as a gold mine by all means. Last thing I would do if i wanted fast money. There are better ways to gain fast gold.

this is already the case to some extent.

moa drops about 90K, barracoon 120K if you dont count his summoning (delicious tokens), and rikktor 150K

i dont know how or wy, but there is a difference. ( i never came across said difference when coding kronus)

true, but even then, lets assume the lowest value of any type drops just once in your backpack:

i shall call this the good day scenario

2 players
110 swordsmanship - 5K
115 mining - 50K
120 cooking - 100K

add to the stack of cash that drops from the sky whe the champ is dead, and if you are fast enough, remaining spawn corpses.

in this "having a good day" scenario you make 300K in an hour.

worst case scenario: 3x 110 cooking - 5K each + gold rain + claim ... is still about 150K

that is still 15x as much as you will make as a miner, per hour :)
you'd have to split the 150K with the other player, still pretty spiffy :)

so nobody is getting poor over this :D
