some houses protected from dropping?

with all the recent house drops I was wondering if some of the really old houses filled with really nice possibly unique server items are being protected from decay. one house in particular is moogies library it has some very nice items that ive seen nowhere else like a first year birthday cake for excelsior from 2007 and a herd of golden sheep also some odd shrunken pets with unusual graphic. I was told that moogies house was protected and I hope that is the case. I look forward to getting hold of some idoc loot and maybe even finding a recently dropped house myself but i really think some of these houses should be left standing even if the original account is deleted. if the houses cant be protected maybe admins could loot the historical items and put them on display somewhere so they don't just disappear?
