Game Won't Start

So I have already been playing and I was on 2 days ago. I try to log in today and I'm getting a verifying account loading screen that just stays there. I've targeted the specific folder for the directory and the same thing happens. When i try to use the shard shortcut without razor it says "Out of memory" -stating that i dont have enough space to run it when I have way too much space to think about. I don't know what to do now so if anyone has an idea it will be greatly appreciated! Thank you

make sure to run uo and razor/steam in compatibility mode with xp sp3 and as administrator. when using razor/steam also point both of the options that say use default to the actual file locations. first points to the actual client.exe and second point to the ultima online excelsior folder. if that doesnt work there is a fix on the forums for large address aware that a lot of folks have had some success with. gl and post again if anything works or doesnt work. also try doing a scan with malware bytes anti malware as my lil girls game wont start after a visit or 3 to roblox or some such site. soon as i run it it starts right up. u can also type msconfig in run and disable all /any updaters or such that load when windows start

I changed both of them and it still hasn't changed,just closes after it says the same thing about the space.

Is it the first thing you run after rebooting the computer?

That usually helps.

It now works again for the time being haha. Thank you all for the help, i guess the mixture of strategies worked!

The client is an old program, and is a bit fussy in how the memory is being used when it starts.

I had a big issue with this
when installing UOML.. and logging in.. worked great.. but couldnt see anythign in customs room
when using UOEX custom files, id get an out of memory error (I have 25gb virtual memory assigned)
I ended up working out its one of the files starting with A causing the issue
How did I work this out?
moved all of UOEX custom files one by one into my UOML folder.. (well 10 by 10) and backing it up every so often
worked from the bottom and worked my way up.
Seems one of the art files, causes the error to occur.. but I was able to make a hybrid version of the game that works (and I cans ee everything
