Questions regarding Pets.

Awesome shard guys. Really enjoying all the custom things! A few questions though.

Today I had a go at breeding desert ostys for a experiment. My goal is to make a tank out of them. I had a male/female. So my questions are:

1. If I max their lvl limits (17) and use all their ability points in HP, when they make a new osty will it inherit its parents HP but be low level?

Example

Father 200Hp Lvl 15
Mother 200Hp Lvl 16- Child - 200Hp Lvl 1?

Also I hear there are potions that up their stats higher than their level limit? Is this true and if so where can I buy them? I am aware about the generations etc too. Thank you.
