hello all, i was compelled to post some thoughts. but before i go any further, i wanna say this isnt meant to offend anyone so if so, i do apologize.

seems to me the same people are winning alot,the last several raffles ive seen one person has won several times. thats all fine and dandy but, it seems to me my like there should be a fix for this, because im pretty certain these same individuals are most likely buying hoards of tickets... lessening the chances of others to win. (because its not a rule breaker atm no offence winners)

i propose a limit of say for example, 50 tickets per person. that way one person isnt buying 200 or 500 tickets to better their chance of winning. honestly i see some really cool raffles but, when i see the same person win highly valued or wanted items, it doesn't encourage me to spend my gold to enter, even though i still do.

if its unfair for a guild to hoard a color taking away from other players having a chance at the color, i would imagine its unfair to hoard tickets. making it to where only a few certain people continuously win these raffles.

again, its just a thought, im not mad i havnt won lately.. its more of a idea to limit how often the same people can win over and over.

I'm not sure where you got your information regarding the winners of the destash raffles, but here are all the winners (for every destash raffle), from most recent to oldest:

Baxster - waived. After redrawing, Kitana Jess won.
Baxster
Culichi
Rockafella
Lillianna

EzekialMoss

Also, destash tickets cannot be hoarded - the raffle chest only accepts tickets that were created after the current raffle was begun.


However, it sounds like you're not talking about the Destash raffle at all, based on your wording. The raffle tables in Trinsic are not destash raffle tables, and they are meant to be a gold sink - we won't limit the number of tickets a person can purchase. It is fair in the same way any raffle is fair - if you purchase more tickets, you have more chances to win.

This is intended as a gold sink rather than a raffle, and the more you spend, the greater your chances, but sure, its a gamble. I always encourage everyone to buy at least 1 raffle ticket, you would be surprised how many actually win. Of course the odds are small, but it still occurs.

ok i see. well, i wont mention names but yes its trinsic... my bad on the name of the raffle. if yall dont wanna change the "gold sink" thats fine. just seemed a but more fair to all. and i assumed it was all about fair. not the same people winning month after month. thanks for responding.

Gambling is not fair, and it never will be. Its the nature of the beast. However if you wish, there are player raffles that folks do. ILV usually does them and can ask them how they go about it. Then you can host a raffle and have whatever rules you wish!! As long as they don't break shard rules of course.
