Clearing up afk pets training in training room.

First I really need to make clear I did not bring this up to argue this. I know from what I read in the chat I wasn't the only one who misunderstood the rule.

You are not allowed to have a pet training in the training room if you are afk even if your character is there. That is how it has been explained to me today. The sigh in the training room says basically you may not leave a pet unattended in the training room. I have no problem with the rule but I tried to find something in here about that under training room, pets and other searches with no luck. The sign suggests it's just not allowed to leave the pet in the room alone. I am asking if the sign can be changed to be clear on this and perhaps it be listed in the codex under things not allowed afk. I simply don't want the players who come after confused by this.

As far as I am aware we ask that players stay with there pet if they are training them in the training room, I'm not sure if it is a rule that they can't AFK while there training there pet.

But as far as I know you are not allowed to be AFK while you are at a spawn holding a levelable weapon.

But do pets level in the training room...? Do they gain anything in there...?

Now in my eyes if they gain anything from it then this would come under the same sort off section as the levelling weapon rule.

Maybe an admin can give us the answer you are looking for.

Who has explained that to you?

As the signs state, you need to be with them, but AFK is not mentioned. And since there is no rule against being AFK in the training room, you can be.

We just don't like full packs of mules and ozzies in there with the owner nowhere to be seen. Although they don't gain exp, they still gain skill up to 75 i think.

This is then a problem.

The first person was a player who explained that it was that way and you had even stated this, then when I paged Neptune explained it to me in the training room. I explained to him that I had no problem with whatever the rule might be but that it seemed that by the wording of the sign and the lack of anything in the codex stating that it was forbidden that it was not. Also the fact that someone else in chat had stated the code did not say that was not allowed that others thought the same. After stating this Neptune said that perhaps I should go ahead and bring this up in here. With at least one new admin and others applying to be admins perhaps when there is time these written and if there are any unwritten rules needs to be gone over to make sure that there are no more confused ones.

that was my bad, I took it upon myself to read into the word unattended to mean basically AFK, since this is not the case.. i publicly ask forgiveness for my incorrect information and...

This started not with you making a statement on it or when you were kind enough to explain it to me to make sure I understood but with a player stating what they said was from Colibri and another stating that it was not worded as such in either the room itself or the codex. Clearly it is something that others believed was so. I started this thinking it was one group of people who misunderstood a rule and it turned out it was another, but there is just a misunderstanding in the rule. Please don't fall on your trident over such a thing
