Price Help - Crafted Double Axes

Greetings. I'm relatively new still and pricing is a bit of a mystery for me so I'm looking for some honest feedback.

I know that crafted items aren't worth remotely the amount of looted items, but I figured I'd see if these have any value to them. I'm not flowing in gold and almost hitting the 30-day account age so any wealth helps.

-Are these complete garbage?
-If I put them on a vendor, how much?
-Should I even bother crafting weapons? If so, which ones?

Same questions apply to armor.

They aren't worth much at all, sadly. Those are the sort of weapons someone would throw into the Newbie bin. The thing about crafted weapons is that even if you got the ideal properties you were looking for, you would only have 297 points to spend on additional properties. So, even if you were to find the ideal properties it wouldn't even be worth the effort leveling it because of point penalty. Not to mention double axes aren't a great weapon type for a newer player that can't out heal damage.

It's not really worth it to craft weapons. You could list them for cheap (5k, 10k) and hope someone would buy them but it might take a while to sell. Armor is a bit different since people might still use crafted armor after a certain point so it might be worth it to craft it. That's my experience with these things, anyway.

Not really relevant to the topic but I recommend going to champ spawns if you're short on gold.

I 100% agree with what Erth said, but I would also like to add that crafted Yumi bows can be worth 10k-50k depending on how many hits it has and what the hits are. For instance, I once sold a crafted petrified yumi that had hit lightning, fireball, mana leech and hit lower defense, with all being between 38%-50%, and got 250k gold for it.

BUT, do understand that you will need 120 Fletching skill, a full +3 or +5 fletching suit with a fletching hammer to have high enough skill, and will STILL need to craft the yumi's with petrified fletching runic tools to be able to make one with these types of stats. Out of every 100 yumi's I make in a row with this formula, only 1 out of 20 of the yumi's crafted are worth selling for 10k-50k, so you can only imagine how many I've made to finally make one that made me the 250k.

Sorry Deadwerd but i have never seen a crafted or looted Weapon with Lightning AND Fireball ... so u mean for sure that u carfted one with Lightning OR Fireball + a Area Damage like fire. Or u mean after lvl it. Sorry ...

But back to the Double Axes ... it is possible to craft a double axe with better Hits than a Blaze of Death. I see here is nearly everybody trying to get a Blaze for champ hunts. A Blaze will be sold these Days for like 750k - 1000k. And in my opinion is the Blaze ok for champ hunts but total overrated to build a Relayer ( but this is another Story ^^ )

I wear a Player crafted Double Axe for Champ hunts with the following stats: Hit Fire Area 50% , Hit Fireball 50% ,
Hit Lightning 51% , Hit Mana Leech 51% , Hit Stamina Leech 50% ... incl +8Str & +8Dex and 13% Defense Chance Increase and it has also +35% Damage Increase like the Blaze.

If u want to know how good is your crafted Weapon and what will it be with lvl 100
download the Tool " Stig´s Weapon Planner " u will find it at the forum at the search option.

When u prefer to build a Champ Weapon like this one i wear so give it a try to craft one. But i think to sell carfted Weapons will be hard. But if they had good stats like Lightning or Fireball +Mana / Life / Stamina Leech or a combination from all its allways worth to lvl it when u checked with the tool what happend at lvl 100 and for a new Player to start here a nice help.

Thank you, Deadwerd. I don't think I'll dabble in that extensive of crafting quite yet, but that's all great to know. I'll probably keep my Horselord for a good while until I manage to loot something worth leveling.

Thank you, Semtex. I like when there are multiple options and crafted Axes seem to be an alternative to the BoD, which is out of my price range for the time being.

You can make a little money on crafted weapons but as others said...not much. The weapons you listed are not very good. When you craft something consider the fact that Hit Dispel and Stamina Leech are basically worthless (some can make an argument for Stamina leech but...). I've managed to craft 1 double axe with 46-48x4 stats. That's what will sell for a decent amount. You want things like Hit Mana Leech, Lightning, Fireball, Harm, etc...
