Who are you and who do you work for!?!?!? I’ve never once seen you around in the world, chat or forums. Yet you have like... every single first in achievements! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little miffed when the “death over time” achieve was bugged so I waited and checked it as often as possible for when it was ready, so I could finally get an achiev first and with bonus upside for the achiev being one that is in line with my characters theme.....only to have ‘ol Unammed Hero clear the first 4 tiers already, apparently the instant the bug was fixed. Must be +C secretly screwin with me! Turn on your public recongnition for achievements people! How else will I know who to PM and accuse of stealing muh glory! Cheers y’all
Never a fan of the "First Achieved by" in any games really. People who don't normally do the things an achievement is for "race out" to get their name in lights.
Would rather it displayed a "has been achieved by" as a random pick on say server reset or a weekly basis. Then if only the one soul has done it they keep the headlights. When there is more then one there would be a chance of a newer achiever seeing their toons name in lights, even if only til next reset or whatever time scale.
Also BIG fan of Unnamed Hero as they have almost all achievements 1st
I always thought that "Unnamed Hero" was someone who either deleted their character or got deleted for inactivity or some other reason. I could be wrong of course.

I assumed that our "Unnamed Hero" was a staff member verifying the achievement actually registered when met. Of course, I also could be wrong. If it was a deleted character, I would have thought it would say "Long Forgotten Warrior" like some of my old unused stuff say.
hey +A, while you’re here ; ) I understand the intention of the public achievement setting, disabling it so as to not allowing others to target you and see how much bank sitting you do vs. killin/crafting etc..lol but is there not a way to circumvent that for logging global records only? So we don’t have a book filled with unammed heros? I mean I’ll likely never get listed but nonetheless it doesn’t seem to be working as intended; what’s the point of a records list that doesn’t have anyone in it? Cheers:)
yeah, i agree! Rhie and I were just talking about this. Isn't there a way to make it so that if someone achieves it first and doesn't want their name shown, it just skips over them and shows the next person who achieved it first? It just seems like someone who actually wants their name there should get it rather than people who don't want to be seen for it. =/ Just our opinion on it.... it seems a waste having unnamed hero in all of these achievements.
Some posts here are such pathetic attempts for gaining some "fame". For all of you who want their names shown - go hunt, or craft, or whatever needed for the achievements. It seems only Possum get it right here. "Unnamed Hero" does not mean it is deleted char or something like that. It means the person who did it have the "Anyone can see my achievements" option set to "Off". And yes - anytime he wants, he can show his name if set the option to "On" and wait for the timer.
well i have absolutely no need to "get fame" as you so KINDLY put Terra. The point is that the people who WANT to be shown on the achievement should have a chance to do so. I'm not even speaking for myself. It's just stupid to have it not shown, it literally defeats the whole point.

I am the first to get the bane of the undead achievement so I tested what happens when I set my achievements to private... answer, absolutely nothing. It still shows me as the first to finish this achievement, so I believe there's absolutely nothing Mr. Unnamed Hero can do to change how this shows up or the rest of the shard after the fact. Because of this I feel it would be nice or the title to proc for the first player to finish the achievement who has the settings put to public, but that's just my opinion. Give fame to those who seek it, rather than those who wish to remain anonymous.
