Turning tree's into stumps. Is it allowed?

Still newish here, was wondering if it is allowed to use the mod file that turns all trees into stumps to get rid of the clutter of all the leaves and limbs that get in the way for targeting. The tree's are still there, they just look like stumps. You still can not pass through them or anything. Only for looks. Wanted to get an official yes its allowed or no its not before I look into changing anything. I value my account to much to even go into a "grey area" . I asked in world chat and got mixed replies , so asking here to be safe. Thank you

Hi there, if you take a moment to read http://uoex.net/codex section 4. changing you game appearance would not be illegal unless that would in anyway interfere with the servers, which since it applies to your client it shouldn't.

Anyway if you would rather wait for +'s to answer you, try finding a more clear area with lined up trees

Just an FYI. You can use the "Dig for treasure" menu from the map, and then target yourself when you are near the map and it will dig. Just so you know. Then you don't have to worry about targeting the ground.
