I'm pretty sure you let it go too cheap. 3x58 is good, 4x58 is hard to find, especially with 4 good hits. Dare I say, that is a near perfect WW weapon.

Not sure if I would say it went for too cheap, 400ED is a solid price. I agree that 4x58s are hard to come by, and the stats are very good, but one problem is that the market for an area weapon is more limited. Most people want direct hit weapons. Area attacks are eliminated in quest areas, events, etc. so essentially that quasi hit is eliminated. Good weps are rare, and this is certainly a great wep, but I think the price was fair. Dont even want to know what a 5x58 wil go for lol

I do see all points of view and 400ed/20m is no small sum, that said, as soon as I saw this post and saw the sale price I actually groaned IRL (I saw the post after it was already sold). I would have offered 50% more, to start. I agree with Xavian in that it is a near perfect AoE wep. I see Alejandro's point too that the market is smaller for AoE weps, but that's kinda the point. A lot of players would have been waiting a long time to see a wep like this come on the market to upgrade their own weapon, and would not see it as something that could be leveled and sold at an inflated price.

I have been waiting for (and trying to loot for myself) a weapon of similar calibre to use.

Not trying to have a go Muolke, and apologize in advance if it comes off as me trying to have a go at you, I'm not. Just explaining why I was disappointed at the time frame it was offered for and the low sale price...

The person who bought it, put it on a vendor in TC for 5,000EDs...

Yeah, I saw that. I offered them 30mil for it and got laughed at. Got told price was 5000ED. I tried explaining that that was not a realistic price. I then got told "Goodluck. Already have an offer of 2500ED" I somehow do not believe that anyone would pay 2500ED for it... and if they do then poor Muolke certainly let it go too cheap as that is over 6 times what the original buyer paid for it.

That same vendor also has a recent GM food item for 100ED, an 8 month vet ethy for 100ED (is that even legal since the buyer may not even be able to use it?), a relayered SoT for 900ED (SoT's are like 250-300ED so the absolute max one's worth is 800ED if you made it yourself fresh) and a partially ointed 368 str imp for 20mil, so I do not think that pricing is their forte (to put it nicely). I've actually had to put in a page on that players vendor in the past as they had a pile of Polar Bear masks dyed SoT colour for 200ED each. +Colibri agreed that that was pushing the boundaries of 'fair play' and removed them.

Certainly rude behavior when responding to PM inquiry. They had the same reaction to me. Although I interpreted their "CURRENT OFFER 2500EDS" response as the price they were willing to take. Very persistent in sending negative responses, despite my offer of up to double what they paid for the item. Their negativity and rude responses are unnecessary.

I agree that the prices they ask are totally unreasonable in a lot of cases. I've found several items on the website then checked price on their vendor to find it's is outrageous. I have messaged before and they dropped prices by half, or more. So they know the prices are unreal as well.

I guess you could find an uneducated player that could theoretically pay that but anyone that uneducated is probably fairly new and would have to donate $250 to get that many EDs. Can it happen? Yes. Will it? Not likely.

I got 20 mil for the weapon and i'm fine with it. Clearly I could have gotten more for it but it's ok...it's a game. Next time I get a weapon like this i'll let you guys all duke it out for it haha!

Seriously tho...anyone reading this...that weapon is not worth over 700-800EDs MAX. If you go buy it from this person for more then you're enabling this person to keep asking crazy amounts for items in game.

You could get an Ancient Yumi and relayer it for cheaper than that!

I agree its not worth that and grand auction weps go for a similar price (yumi). because its AOE the market is smaller and you cant make it a yumi since it has to be a whirlwind wep. Since it wont be a yumi the magic arrow is the least best hit of the 4 available hits. I think Muolke did well on the price. It's a good fair price.
