+C economy
Re: +C economy
I can agree that there’s definitely a lot of positive things on uoex and opportunity for new players. I also like your suggestions! It would be awesome if +C thinks the same!
Re: +C economy
@Nick
"IMO its not that the economy here is broken (other then vets have no need to buy resources from new players which is a traditional role new players fill) its that the new players want to get to god status in a few weeks instead of enjoying the game for what it is. Having the potential ceiling so much higher here doesn't mean you should try and hit it and skip the fun that comes along the way."
Ding ding ding... we have a winner!!

Re: +C economy
Some good ideas being put out there.
I don't think "Hunters" will ever see eye to eye with the Crafter/BoD fillers players.
Will admit right now that I love doing "BoD's": The gathering of them all, collecting the resources, then crafting to fill them & hand in the completed Large BoD's. Always have since day dot, not really sure why? Bit like an addiction - I know I going to be disappointed with the reward vs time, but I just can't stop myself. Unfortunately the psychological boon from handing a completed one in doesn't last long.
Why shouldn't crafter/BoD fillers be able to generate good in game wealth? Its all part of the game world, all personal choice what we do in-game, yes, why should some areas be poo pooed just because they aren't "end game" or such.
Current BoD rewards currently are sort of fair with gold barely, items though are mostly worthless. Personal opinion only.
Crafting was being given a refresh - Tailoring changes were a real step forward, but with staff losses will no doubt be put to the back burners now.
My suggestion is as follows:
Make the reward items "useful" or probably better yet, give only gold and tokens.
Have a craft vendor (like the Tailor one) where the tokens and also resources can be exchanged for gear.
Scope here is enormous - minor things for just tokens
Opens up potential for a good resource sink - better gear for tokens & resources.
Some examples maybe - better crafting armor for 10ktokens & 100k resources
deed for crafted weapon to lvl as a looted for say 250k tokens & 2000k resources
So many possibilities with this sort of thing.
Still should take a lot of time and effort to get good things, don't think anyone really expects like a BC or SoT for 2 hours crafting or a Titans for 6 hours. Would take many months to accrue the necessary bits and pieces.
Oooh did I mention the tokens should be account bound!! Let the players who put in the time and effort to crafting have the major influence on the market for these items.
