Dexterity ointments

Post by fingers »

What effect has dexterity ointments on pets. lets say i have a Cu Sidhe that has 80 dex, if i give him ointments of dex up to 275, will it run faster? Will it attack at a faster pace? Thanks!

Edit: Cu Sidhe is just an example, i have plans to use it on an other pet ;-)

dex improves accuracy of an attack. so i guess it improves the ratio of how many times your pet attacks vs how often they actually damage with their attack.

example being cu's: sometimes they go to take a bite out of something, but all you get is the attempt, they dont actually do damage everytime they attack. dex improves this ratio.

I believe it does both. I have trouble hitting when my stam is drained as well as my swing speed is greatly slowed down when im low.

Well, if you're using divine fury to regenerate your stamina.. it's also supposed to give a minor hit chance increase also. So that might be what you're experiencing.
