Wax crafting cost...

I'm still new to the shard (35 days or so), and want to get into wax crafting, but I think it's a bit too costy..

Let's see with a colored skull candle cost :

- Needs a wax tool (10k for TEN charges)
- Needs 5 dipping sticks + 1 candle wick ( dipping sticks 5 wax each to make, so 10k there if u buy them)
- Need 1 cloth and 1 dye (won't count them)
- Needs AT LEAST 115 alchemy for good success rate (87.5% at 112.2)
- And needs a human skull from Dark Father

Total cost :

- 6 uses to make the sticks and wick + 1 for candle : 7k
- 26 beeswax : If u buy them at 450 per : 11.5k
- Skull from gauntlet : let's say a worth of 2k

So thats around 20k to make one, if I don't fail.

Currently selling them 18k on marlena at TC (Saving a bit on wax cause I have hives...)

I personnly would like to see more of them around, but would suggest lowering the prices of the wax crafting tool OR doubling the charges on it. (Heck, costs just 5k in charges to do a normal large candle, thats without counting wax...)

Anyone agrees with this ?

Even some plants are like 50 wax to make ( around 25k if u buy them) so must sell AT LEAST 30-35k for worthwhile profit, but if people want me to start a full pledge wax crafted stuff vendor, tell me and i'll get to it..

Must warn you though, high prices are not my fault... If that darn tol was a bit less costy or more charges, would drop prices, but now barely cut it even.. (See skull candle cost higher and price I sell it...)

So my suggestion is :

Wax crafting tool at 5k instead of 10k for 10 charges

or

10k for 20 charges instead of 10

or


Transfer it from gold stone to token stone for say, about 10k tokens for 30-40 charges ? ( comes around the same as tokens are 3/1 )

or

Make a mega uses one for say 50k tokens, that would give you like 150+ charges ??

Tiger, I spent some time talking to my brother about something similar: the price to make royal hive robes and boots. They are expensive to make but, when it comes to sell, the price doesn't seem to be fair enough. Make the calculations, you seem to be better than me at this.
So, one thing that I notice in common on these situations is that whatever is made of wax seems to be expensive to make, and cheap to sell.
I can't really figure a possible solution...

They're supposed to be expensive to make.

It's stated boots and robes, there aren't many of those in any form, of course it's expensive.

I totally agree with the cost of robes and boots :

Quick rundown : HIve robe

- Hooded shroud : 50k tokens ( 150k)
- 50 wax ( around 22.5k if u buy them)
- 10 slumgums, you will rarely get some from hives ( i get 1 or 2 per hive/wax transfromation). 1k per ? 10k
- 30 shadow leather (let's round it at 50 per) 1.5k

Total cost : 184k or so

Now comes exceptionnal or not, stats on it, time and of course skills required.


Anyhow i'll continue crafting wax stuff and try to keep prices as reasonable as possible. Now I have colored skull candles at 15k, and normal colored candles at 7.5k. Coming soon, tall standing candeleberas, normal ones and maybe plants
