Getting a bio to actually fire arrows

Hi everyone!

I am brand new to bios and I have been struggling with getting my bios to actually fire arrows from a distance.

I managed to equip the bios with bows and attack a trainer but they approach and fight the trainer at a melee distance. It succeeded in raising archery to 100, but I still cannot figure out how to get the bios to use the bow for ranged attacks.

I equip an elven comp long bow and double click and select normal arrows and then equip the bow to the bio and place the arrows in their pack... no luck. I have tried putting arrows in a quiver on the bio, nothing is working.

I am unable to double click the bow and get a target while the bio has the bow equipped.

The bio also for whatever reason does not list me as it's owner, even though I used a pet bonding deed on them and they are all bonded to me.

Can anyone shed some light on what I'm doing wrong?

I just want the bios to use bows in ranged attacks, but they won't actually fire any arrows.

BIOS dont use bows they are for hand to hand combat only.
