Hi,
New to the server but not new to the game, Played a very long time ago for years back during the dial up days. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has any tips on making a steady source of income. I used to Lumberjack all the time back in the day. It was a very profitable profession at the time but im not sure if it is the best place to start. Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

Get animal taming and buy some maxed pets from player vendors. Start with the rat quest and sell the organics via [exex. When you age out of that, there are a couple of balrons that fast-spawn in Mistvale. Around that time, work up your alchemy and and start beekeeping.
Crafting/gathering is a support skill here. You'll eventually collect enough BODs to match up a set with good rewards but not any time soon. Don't waste your new-player clock on it.
Many other fun things to do here, but those are the early gold makers.
