Raw beeswax and small wax pot question/problem

I am somewhat new to beehives, but have my 22 up and running pretty well. Tonight I harvested all of my wax and honey. Ended up with 515 raw beeswax after a couple/few days of it building up. I added 250 raw to the small wax pot and then rendered it. It said I had 210 pure wax. The targeting cursor was still up, so I targeted the remaining 265 raw. It put 255 into the pot. The pot read Raw Beeswax: 255 and Pure Beeswax: 210. I was concerned that the pot couldn't hold more than 255 Pure wax, so I clicked Empty Pot. It put the 210 pure in my pack, but the 255 raw was nowhere to be found. Not in my pack, not on the ground, and not still in the pot. I then added the remaining 10 raw, rendered, and got 10 pure. I now have 220 pure in my pack, 0 raw, and 40 slumgum.

Is this a bug? Is this how it should be and I'm missing something?

Ditch the pots. Buy a wax refiner and get up to 120% of your raw converted to pure.

definitely go for the refiner but do report the wax pot bug that is terrible
