Any custom weapons comparable to Captain Jack’s Cutlass?

For those who don’t know Captain Jack’s cutlass is a custom weapon only receivable through fishing, it has a base damage of 20-30 almost a 50% damage increase compared to the next highest base damage I have seen which would be the halberd or heavy crossbow.

Since I’ve given up on fishing it up (6% chance to get it every 1 in 25 MIBs, with my fishing script averaging about 4-5 MIBs an hour tops) and after three weeks of advertising buying it I have given up on trying to get this weapon that was as well. So my question is, are there any other custom weapons on the shard with comparable base damage of the cutlass and if so what are they named and how are they earned?

It's special stats aren't to great, I think +8 dex, use best weapon skill and like +15 hit chance increase.

However that increased base damage that it has compared to other weapons is what really makes it exceptional. That boosted base damage is then increased by 300% damage from gear, 70% for 130 anatomy, 80% for 130 tactics, another 50% damage from high str damage boost. Because it does 1-10 base damage higher then any other weapon in the game, that translates to a damage boost of roughly 5-55 per swing compared to any other weapon's base damage that I have seen and that's not counting if the damage is boosted even further through crushing blow.

So really I am looking for if there are any other custom weapons I can get comparable base damage out of.

Thanks. I'v Been Wondering About This Wep For Awhile. Never See Anyone Selling It Tho. The Bonuses Arn't To Bad Considering The Extra Damage You Get. I Dont Know About The Other Custom Weps Tho, Sorry I Could'nt Be More Help.

Two of the crucial things to look at when selecting your weapon, are its primary and secondary special moves. While the Jack's Cutlass has a high damage range, notice it has bleed attack and shadow strike...no crushing blow, armor ignore, or armor pierce. Something to think about...

I would personally get to 120 parry and bushido and go for a nice 2-handed weapon with good specials...like the hally and the war hammer.

Along this train of thought, I currently use Axe of the Heavens and with high parry, bushido, lumberjacking, ect..... the secondary move is whirlwind attack and the primary is double strike. I have found this to work well for me.

There are a lot of different weapons and special abilities that work well, just depends on preference and what you like.

Absolutely. With that Axe of the Heavens, and any other double-axe, you have two multi-hit specials. This is great for those weapons that focus on the hit leeches and hit effects/area effects. Another weapon that is commonly overlooked is the fencing weapon, the kama. If you are a fighter that values defense over raw, single-target high damage attacks, this is a nice weapon. It has whirlwind for those situations when you are surrounded, and you have defense mastery which acts as a nearly 90% chance to completely ignore the next incoming attack. I use this ability with a regular kama when I go elemental farming, and it works 9 times out of 10. But...I would also bring out some mirror images =).

I have a War Axe with the following stats:

58% Damage Increase
58% Lower Attack
58% Lower Defense
58% Mana Leech
58% Magic Arrow
35% Swing Speed Increase

I can't recall the base damage on it atm but it was looted and I havn't slapped a leveling deed on it yet. I could see it being pretty deadly though if you're into macing.
