Item layer change wish

I wish item layer change deeds weren't so expensive. I agree that for levelable weapons, omni magus spellbook, custom stuff that it is probably fair. that stuff is awesome. But say I wanted to change a normal piece of gear, say a doom artifact, from a chest piece to a pair of pants. It still cost 50 ED. No one is gonna do that!
Don't know if I have a point...maybe it'd be nice to change some armor types with a deed similar to the change weapon type, that cost more like 20ED. So you could change a ring to a bracelet (cause you already have a good ring), or change a chest piece to pants, etc... it'd be a change from something similar, just not the exact same piece.
Don't know if this is worth the time to implement either, but it'd be neat, and fair compared to the current 50ed price.

What you mean is that it currently cost 500ed for a layer change deed and you were looking for some for more normal items that might be 200ed. There is a weapon type change deed that is 200ed. What would be nice is restricted layer change deeds for armor that would change from one armor type to another or a jewelry type change deed that could change a ring to a bracelet lets say. For anything else though, I think leaving it for the 500ed layer change deed keeps some balance.
