while fighting in a cave in Tokuno island i am fighting the npc Lords and Lady. i used to get fame and karma off them.
now i loose a lot of karma killing them.
the same is true of the Revelant Lion, Tsuki wolf.
they attack me first.
is something wrong?
why do i loose karma killing monsters that attack me?
Re: why do i loose karma killing monsters that attack me?
no, nothing is wrong. Tokuno is like that, some critters "guard" sacred land, and you lose Karma for killin em. at least that is how it was explained to me. Correct me if I am wrong. one of the reasons I don't go to the Tokuno champ anymore.

I know you can kill red mobs and some non-reds like fan dancers/succubi/balrons/demons/etc without the karma loss..you can farm hiyru and lessers without losing karma I believe. If not or if I missed a few I'm sure someone will correct me ;D

Yeah im with Ishamael on that one as it makes alot of sense. I was a bit shocked myself when I first came to this shard and saw the karma loss as I quit UO years ago before the Tokuno came about. Just like in the Mines the blue warriors are guarding their area and you are the trespasser. Karma is so easy to regain and I stopped worrying about losing it ages ago as it will not affect your fame anyway. Besides William Wallace said it best when he stated " MEN DONT FOLLOW TITLES THEY FOLLOW COURAGE! "
