The actual judging and prize-giving will take place in 2-3 weeks, giving you plenty of time to make a nice house.
Rewards:
- 1st place: +1 to your account's house limit
- 2nd place: a banker or bank stone for your house.
- 3rd place: 100 Excelsior dollars
- 4th, 5th, 6th: 20 ED
(all of the above places will also recieve nice deco)
How to participate:
1. Go to excelsior halls, there's a blue gate. Thru this gate is the housing area - pick one house that is still free, and contact the staff so they trade it to you.
2. If you already own two houses, you will temporarily recieve that "+1" house - in this case you need to get an admin.
3. If you are still new, or dont have much money - you can be lended 500k gold. BUT know this: those 500k is shard's property, you may use it only on the house. Aftre the contest is over, you need to return all of the gold back. Failing to do so might result in jailtime or banning from the shard - so make sure you do not use that money on something else.
The first possible date for the announcement of the winner is august 27th, but we might postpone this date, giving you more time to really express yourself.
The house can contain all kinds of furniture and other items - the items are your possessions. At the end of the competition you will have 1-2 weeks to clear the house of items, but please DO NOT DEMOLISH IT. A staffmember will do that, we will also calculate how much money you get back or how much you need to add to make things even.
Staffmembers and possibly other players will judge on which house is the best. We will judge it's conveniancy, design, decorations, easyness to use, easyness to store items in it... but if you want to make a house that's suposed to be a maze, or something strange, you need to tell that when we will be reviewing your house. (there will be a topic open for house owner's descriptions)
