Having trouble with my UO freezing

Ive been on the shard for two years, but I switched computers, I went from windows Vista to windows 7 and ever since I switched operating systems, UO has been having trouble... and I am unsure of how to fix this so I am hoping someone has had the same problem/experience as I have and is able to give me some advice on fixing it...

Problem is I will be playing on my client, but when I switch windows every once in a while it will freeze my UO and eventually say not responding. It does this randomly as sometimes I can switch over to my internet explorer and UO will be fine. It will even do this when I am messing with my razor for a macro, etc, etc.... Does anyone know what I can do BESIDES switching to windows classic????

I remember it did this to me too at when i started with win 7 not sure what i did to fix it.. but i remember i could not play with razor at all because it froze the uo if i used it. its been long time. your windows uptodate?

Check this forum topic it might help - i assume you are really familiar with windows and setting it run on xp compatibility mode or something

1. razor.exe, uo.exe, and client.exe to run in xp compatibility mode and to run as administrator
2. Try and disable the desktop composition in the compatiblity settings and see if that helps.

all you have to do is run razor in administrator and also compatibility mode xp sp3 i was having the same issue and dramoor told me about that and i haven't crashed or client not responding since
