With regards to the address book. I believe they work here, by allowing a certain player to send an item directly to your bank box? Could this be altered to allow anyone to send you stuff to a specific container in your house? Would be awesome for things like keg returns, or sending payment/leveled weapons to someone who is offline when you are done with them without filling up the bank if there's several items.

As long as there was some kind of log saying who sent what.

There's an "Inbox" in the works, you lock it down - anyone can drop in but only you can take out. Though, there will be no log about who sent what. So, in case you have a few people that deliver goods to you, you'd have to set each with their own inbox.

To return special items (like a leveled weapon) you still may use the regular mailbox.
You could do this: get a bag, place your item and a book with a message inside, then wrap and ship the bag.
- Yes it has the disadvantage of increasing item count in bankbox but this is the way to avoid exploits. (also it still gives some use to the wax instead of selling to NPCs).

What I think would be great is if player vendors could also buy items (you may pay a fee proportional to the value of the items you set to buy). I had this in another shard I played, and it was very useful (since they didn't have Exex).
- This also would ease/inhibit some requests to add specific items to exex.

1 time i sent a friend 125 items to his bank box from my address book. was sorta funny....till i learned he was in fel and using a bag of sending. :O

also the drop off box is a cool idea! you could always put your payment/items in a bag and use an inscriber to name the bag so the receiver knows who it's from
