customizing [claim

Idk if it would be possible, but i would assume so since you can [claim gold from a distance but, i would like to see a customizable option for [claim

for example:
atm [claim claims gold off a corpse, y not make it where u have the option to claim minor stuff like
-gems
-boards
-ore
-ect.
alot of this stuff has enough value to claim but not enough value to stop and move by hand or by script for the simple fact it is more profitible to just keep killing and [claim gold.


i know there is probly many unseen flaws in this idea so please feel free to post pros and cons

Would be wonderful. Even if you made us pay some amount of gold for either another tier of items or an individual thing such as ore (would get all ore regardless of color). Could do ED, too, gotta keep those donations up. Either way this would be a great addition. I'm lazy and don't like using a loot macro that will just make me crash. So having to manually loot things if I actually want them makes me type [claim quite often.

I too once wanted this, but i think it would create an enormous problem in the long run. The influx of gold would be ginormous, and things would once again go down in value even further.

i love this idea been saying something like this to myself for a while.

Also would love to see all the keys have the same ability as the gem pouch where you can just drag and drop the items on to it of have the razor organizer be able to do it for you.


ps... the keys idea may also help the [claim problem cause i would just use [claimall if razor could drop it on the keys instead of 2 mins each kill adding things to keys and organizing

If you want the items, take the time to loot them. The influx of wood/ore/gems/daemon bones, etc would have a huge impact on the economy! I agree it would be more convenient, but try look at the bigger picture, and long term detrimental effects it would have.

Next i suppose [claim should auto skin and cut leathers for you too, right?

Perhaps when you [claim, it should just auto smelt/cut weapons and wooden items and give you the resources for them too. Only on the undesirable ones though. Or sell all the cloth items, and give you their gold value.

I played on a shard for a long time that had a custom [claim (actually it was .claim) it made it very nice, I used it to collect all gems and just keep count of how many diamonds i collected over the months. I think it would be a good Idea myself...

Yeah while u are at it might as well make urself get free eds every other kill. Come on. I mean if you could [claim all the stuff u wanted . WE WOULD NEVER have vendors selling basically anything. Because you could just claim it...While we are at it...lets have it when you [claim it auto cuts the corpse and takes that stuff too. I mean Do you really want it to where u don't have to work to even do anything? Might as well put this in the "afk thread" and say "Dont afk check us, and let us customize to claim whatever we want each time. "

the general idea of this is to take stuff MAINLY GEMS (ores and stuff were just a after thought) and [claim it and like cornbread said, possibly for a fee per item or a fee just to be able to do it. no one ever said anything about auto cutting or auto doing this or that, if u want to cut a corpse do it yourself or with a script like everyone else, and besides auto cutting would be useless since you would claim 3 or 4 corpses and be overweight unless u auto cut leather also, so no point in trying to troll a idea that people seem to like.

i do not foresee a big detrimental effect on this if people pay for this option, even if it is 25 or 50 ED, thats ALOT of gems, and i would hope people would be smart enough not to add deamon bones to this, because then yes it would be a influx in the economy, but with the simple stuff like normal bones, gems, (maybe even stat essences) i do not see a major issue with if effecting the economy.

Its stuff like this though, that leads to stuff like cutting corpses etc. Plus many people who would be doing this sort of thing already have bags of holding, or bags of resources, or both, not to mention pack animals (easier/more convenient to move 1 stack 1 time, than from every corpse). Bones would be a welcome addition, (since nobody seems to sell them for tailor bods *cough*, and they aren't on exex. But i think it would also be very easy to accumulate thousands of gems in short order. Would this lead to prices being dropped on gems and more complaining, because so many more people were getting them now, since they didn't have to really take their time to loot them?

I think gems are an excellent source of income for newbies who get the gem pouch, and take the time to loot them. If everyone suddenly claimed them, I think their value would get nerfed, and another income source taken from new players. I feel the same way about scrolls (which can be sold to the mage). I used to collect those too and sell them. Wish there was a key for scrolls! Would make spellbooks a lot easier to create

you could put like a 10% tax on all gems [claimed or something, so a gem that sells for 35 Gold would cost u 3.5 Gold per of that gem to even [claim if you do it at the fee per item, or u can just make it a one time fee of a specified amount

I am an ass about it because there are way better discussions and things to do then to have esp someone like you who scripts your leveling, then allowing u to gain more while doing nothing but watching your screen. There are more things to discuss right now then afk checks and let us get more things easier. We should all be complaining that we need more areas to hunt, more staff to catch those afkers when we page, new content especially when what MAY of last year nyx told eveyrone she had a patch ready to go all colibri had to do was implement it? It's like this shard has become a car for colibri, All PAID OFF, nothing needs to change or update or new staff or anything. THAT'S the problems and thinks we should be complaining and talking about. not "give us more ease of the game"

use an auto-looter. BUT can't fault people for there own options like custom claim or no claim. just script an auto-looter that does that for you.
