Please discuss server updates in this thread.

The server version 34D is now in effect.
Have fun with the new features and bug fixes.

All resistances are now able to be raised with ointments.

Thanks for the post on these.

One thing I'm curious about, I was on this morning trying to gather up some ointments, well morning my time. Would have been around 9am your time. Was the ointment drop rate in effect then?

Other then that, thanks for the work on stuff, looks good.

It was put in at about 15:30 shard time. I remember seeing you a few hours before i did the restart, so the changes werent in effect at that time.

Uh, the site is down, we can't see the recipe list for ointments.

Well... the site is back up now but the guides directory is empty.

For temporary reference, from some personal experiments, here's what I've found produces what ointment:

Ginseng -> Vitality (hp?)
Mandrake -> Strength
Spider's Silk -> Intelligence
Blood Moss -> Dexterity
Nox Crystal -> Energy Resist
Pig Iron -> Physical Resist
Bee's Wax -> Cold Resist
Spring Water -> Fire Resist
Orange Petals -> Poison Resist
Green Thorn -> Armor Rating

As far as I can tell, that's all of them. Most of those were on the guide before anyhow, but since most didn't work before and the guide's down right now...if anyone finds anymore, be sure to post them. Can't imagine there are though, I think they cover all the key stats.

Server version 34F is now in effect.

The crash was caused by an error in the new script that handles the update razor and encrypted clients. It crashed at 7:12 AM shard time, i started to fix it at 11AM but because i had scheduled errands, the shard came back online at 13:19, which mean a 6 hour downtime.

Server version 34G is now in effect.

Special thanks to Autolycas for providing us with the wax crafting system, which will be available to everyone shortly. Thanks also go to Belle Nightshade for balancing and making the amount of resources needed just right.

The [druidspell command is available for everyone who owns a druid book. If you would like to cast, for example "grasping roots", you need to type
[druidspell 5
(since grasping roots is the 5th on the list in the druid book)

If you had a Quiver of Blight, it was replaced with a deed. If you want it turned back into a quiver of blight, just let me know.

If you have a non-working elven quiver, just contact the staff and we'll give you a working one.

Server version 35 is now in effect.

After 2 extra restarts - first one because of the monster ghost bug, and the second one because of broken bows - we finally got it right.

The main features are:

- Wax crafting. More info in the announcement post

- Back end server synchronization with MySQL which allows us to see the chat log in real-time in the portal and on the website.

- If you shrink a pet but your backpack is full, the shrunken pet will no longer fall to the ground, but be put in your backpack anyway.

Server restarted and patched with a new version of scripts, 35a.
There should be a few more fixes in this, but since we had to restart to get rid of the disconnects (not sure if it was ISP or the server), having the server down already I also took the oportunity and updated it. I expect to make another restart in less than a week to put in a few things that were promised for this restart.

Server restarted with the scripts versions 35b.

The main features are:

- Ability to turn vendors, players can manage their display items on their own.

- Many shrunken pets that looked like balls before, will look like they should.

- No need to drag out your pet's healthbar if it has been shrunken for less than 24 hours.

This year's first server patch unfortunately brings only 3 bug fixes.
More about this can be read in the changelog.

I've got pretty much going on in my life so i've just made this critical bug fix. The additions will have to wait. I might add some even by the end of january. If not sooner, then 2nd half of february might be a time for some new things.

We are currently on a 20 minutes save interval while the "full" stability returns. I doubt there will be crashes again, and even with the few crashes in the last week, there was just one minor revert, so this is more as a precaution.

Server version 35d is now in effect.

This fixes the problem with pet's overfeeding, also adds 2 things to the waxcrafting menu and the [deathannounce command.

While the shard was offline, i took the chance and de-dusted the server, took all of the devices out and cleaned them, cleaned the wires, and most importantly, added 2GB of 800mhz RAM.

The reduntant connection i'm afraid didnt suceed, the wireless signal is too weak. So i guess we'll have to wait a few months till the optics are available.

This bug has been fixed.

There's a bug that makes hiverobe and hiveboots disapear if you doubleclick your hiverobe/hiveboots while they are equipped and while you are in a trade with someone.
Do not doubleclick your hiverobe or hiveboots while you are in a trade with someone.
