Tracking BoDs

What are the different methods people use for organizing/tracking what BoDs they have?

Right now I have each group (Carpentry, Blacksmithing, etc..) in 4 books (Large, 20, 15, 10) and it's a pain to run through them to see if have what is required to fill a large.

I haven't tried putting the large in with the quantity (a Large 20 in the 20 book), would that work with the filters?
