resisting spells wont go past 66.00.

is there something I need to do to make it go up? been using clumsy to gain skill but it seems to have stopped. any suggestions?

Check if you have spell called "Protection" toggled on.

got the same , but mine at 69 . Protection is a spell ?

in magery is protection spell that lowers your spell resist for having it cast and you just recast to take it off but when active it stops any chance of having spell interupted while casting and getting hit to allow spell to go off but has a reduction to your total spell resist so can be 100 and then if on lower it down to 60 or 70

spell protection is efective always still you don't cast it again on you ?

Yes. Either you cast it again to toggle it off or there has to be a server restart, which resets all spell effects. With Protection, Reactivate Armor, Magic Reflection and the necromancer transformation spells work the same way.

Si is it better get protection active , for cleric and chivalry ?

the 2 other magic reflexion and reactive armor , are these interestinf if i got 70 /70/70/70/70 already with gear

Protection lets you cast your spells without being interrupted when you take damage, thus it's a nice spell. The downside is that it lowers your effective Faster Casting cap by two while the spell is active, so you cannot reach the highest casting speeds. It will also lower your physical resistance and resisting spells skill. If you're tanking and maybe using only few spells like Consecrate Weapon, Divine Fury, which both are rather fast to cast, it's probably better to keep Protection on. However, if you use pets and sit back with a bow and cast a lot of healing spells on the pets, it's most likely that the limited Faster Casting cap might get into the way and you wish not to use Protection.

As for the Reactivate Armor and Magic Reflection. Reactivate Armor raises your physical resistance by ((Inscription / 20) + 15 and lowers your other resistances by 5. Magic Reflection lowers your physical resistance by (25 - (Inscription / 20)) and raises your other resistances by 10. In the end, those are there only to modify your resistances if your armor isn't doing it for you. Also you might have a all 70's armor, but wish to start using Vampiric Embrace which lowers your fire resist and this might bring you down below 70 fire resist and you might be able to get back there with the right combination of these two spells.

nice ^^ i got around 90 in each resistance so if one get lower i still stay on 70 all :)

to be immun to poison i need get 120 resiste spell ?

even at 120 resist you are not immune to poison there is only one way to do that and that is to eat an orange petal and that only lasts for 5 minutes. Resisting spells more does a half dmg of spell your hit with then anything else and think gives you a few more to your base resists but doesnt stop you from being poisoned in anyway may reduce the life lost during poisoned time but not stopping it unless as said you eat orange petals every 5 minutes then yes you are poison immune but thats a grown item thru plants system.
