Re: Any benifit to beast bio?

still think the rideable spider is best for that "I own the road" effect. The rideable demon seems to be more for a fancy lad that must be pampered. Now if the demon could fight will holding you that would be a different story.

Re: Any benifit to beast bio?

What would be the benefit of a mountable bio? You could just use an ethy mount for yourself and put your human bio on a cu. A while back there was a player that had a rideable demon. It looked like he was being carried around. Thinking back, it was kinda silly. Now personally I switch between beast ...

Heh, I like your background, I'm just too lazy to make my own. :D

Please excuse my back to back posting. Probably shouldn't post when I'm too tired to see straight.

Re: Unveiling the DashGUI

Modding team sounds awesome. I do also agree that we would need more people.

Dash, do you happen to still have a copy of VERy? I'm trying to find it on 'the google' but just keep getting pages about a "very good mulpatcher".

Well, thats all I have to add at the moment. In the process of working ...

Re: Unveiling the DashGUI

okay, then the patch maker in MulEditor is perfect. It creates a patch that is about 4megs or so depending on just how much content you are adding. I wrote a cheap tutorial for it earlier in this thread just because it requires the use of a verdata.mul file.

And I am always thinking of things to ...

Re: Unveiling the DashGUI

You mean to be able to make a patch that can be distributed to other players? I have really looked into any command line batch tools for the patching because the patch maker in MulEditor has worked for everything except Static files. You can use an empty verdata.mul file and only add the items you ...

Eh ? When is this one loaded ? I never see it ...

It never gets loaded. +Colibri could tell us exactly but I'm guessing it was created for the login but never implemented. Using it as your login background is just as easy as the one you decided to use. Just in gump editor you would extract it ...

Re: Silly Question time with the Doctor

OMNI SHIRT + Ornament of the Magician! j/k. An Ornament of the Magician and earrings and ring will get you there the quickest, cheapest way. You could always add it to your weapon also or use the mage quest armor. And don't forget that the protection spell will drop you down to 2/6.

Re: Unveiling the DashGUI

That looks pretty good Adin! I had completely forgot to mention that there was a dragon background already in the custom client files. It's ID is $111. Here is shot of what it looks like.

Dash, you have forced me to have to find the pre-alpha client just so I can see those amazing ...

Re: New grafics, new items

Patchmaker is included in Autopatcher, which is at this point is only availible as source via svn://uodev.de/autopatcher

Also there seems to be little to no support.

So we'd need to compile it to test, but is looks like something that could do the job. Anything specific you need to know ...

Re: Unveiling the DashGUI

By the way ... can someone tell me how to modify the login screen, or just send me the grafic or something, please ?

Sure thing. This short, very badly written tutorial is for MulEditor

1) On the right side of MulEditor you have a drop down Mul browser.
2) Double click on "Mul Files" and then ...

I've tried using babelfish to translate but it doesn't work too well when it comes to more technical sites. I've seen Autopatcher in the forums but not too much about PatchMaker.

Re: New grafics, new items

okay, I think I see what you mean now. You are wanting to make a patcher almost like Multool or Mulpatcher? I know that at one time both of these worked great for just using smaller files to patch the statics files. But I don't think either of them have been updated in awhile.

Don't know why I was ...

Re: New grafics, new items

I also plan on making a statics patcher, so that we could freeze things like the town center, while still being able to change it without major hassle. And possibly remove a tree or two, on request, for a fee of course.

Have you looked yet to see if Worldforge will do this? I know it can ...
