Lookign for a trade!!!

Hello there, my name is Matt AKA Magnus, and i had an idea and ill explain a little about that idea, you see, im quitting this server iv gotten bored with, and on that server im pretty wealthy, i ahve a 2mil house that was profecionally made, i have dontator items worth 2-4 mil each mil and a mercenary (Would be called a Bio on this shard) with a weapon thats worth 2 an a half mil. And i was wondering if anybody would like to make a trade, if this isnt allowed feel free to tell me but i no longer want anything on that server and i would like to trade my stuff there for stuff on here, again if this isnt allowed please tell me, but if anybody is interested Post thanks i have a complete list of items that i have on the other shard and their values. Thanks oh and just so everyone knows, i havnt made my character yet so you will need to post here if you want to trade i would like to get as much as possible for these items if possible thanks

Welcome to the forums. We hope you have an opportunity to visit us on the shard as well.

We are not, however, able to conduct trades with items from other shards, as essentially, our members would be leaving our shard to go to the one you speak of. In this manner, one might see this as a sly advertisement.

So in short, no we do not allow advertisements/cross-shard tradings on the forums or on the shard, but we hope that, by following these rules, you will be able to enjoy our forums and our shard. We would be pleased to have you.

Thank you, i cant wait to join the shard, it will be so fun the shard i used to play got really boring once i started making money and the stats on that shard were all messed and i heard from a friend that this shard is MUCH better so i was kinda hoping it was allowed lol, but i can work from nothing i guess :p thanks for the welcoming but i cant downlaod anything for another couple of days unfortunately but once i can ill be sure to get your client and everything i cant wait i really cant

We are looking forward to you playing here, and I'm sure you will appreciate the content and player base here. Like your friend says, there are plenty of players on here who are more than happy to get you on your feet. Even though your trade couldn't be made, you can look at the situation as giving you more to do when you start playing. =)

After you click the "Download the Client and Get Started" link in the "New Here?" area in the center of the main page, download, and install the full bundle (Highly suggest you do this rather than patch an already installed client), you are going to want to also download the static and hue patch for the client so you can see the customs here. The patch is found below:

Scroll to the bottom and download the full patch.

Hello Magnus and welcome to the wonderful world of excelsior and choosing this shard as in my opinion it rocks. If you are in need of a tour or perhaps getting started and info about how to get around or where to hunt to start feel free to msg me in game with the name Phoenix.
For starters as you will get the info when you join I will state it now to help you out.

To talk publicly you type [c "then what you want to say" or to private msg someone such as myself you would type [pm Phoenix otherwise you can replace my name with anothers if you choose to private msg another. I am fairly established on this shard already and have been here for well over a year so I am sure I may be of great help to you to get started. I can most certainly hook you up with starter armour and weapons to train your skills and fight low level mobs until you can get your skills up. Keep in mind that there is no skill cap here so feel free to skill raise your arse off. not too many limits here other than conduct but even then they are more or less common sense and respectful family shard rules for which I am sure and hope you will enjoy. P.S. try ebay to sell your other account you wont ever need to sell your excelsior one haha

About the legality of the trade... whatever goes on other shards is out of our judristiction, so the only part of the trade we see here, is that someone would be giving you some things, which isnt against the rules. Whether you will be giving them some things there, is however out of our control.

So, I would just like to caution everybody about such trades, because if you give your items to someone on this shard, there's no guarantee that they will also give you items on the other shard, or well, vice versa.

I have nothing against the free trade and exchange of any kind, but this could be viewed as advertising another shard (well, saying that it's boring doesn't make much of an advertisement). So just to be safe, i suggest that you post such things outside of the shard, maybe RunUO or ConnectUO.
