Stuck on verifying account page

I downloaded and installed the client and followed the directions on the home page but Im stuck on the verifying account page, I can't figure out what Im doing wrong, my client is version 5.0.9.1 patch 46 and im using the latest version of razor....any suggestions?

I would try it without razor. If that works, then you can work on razor.

Thanks for the reply Agh, I have tried the client with and without Razor, also I have tried using the older version of razor as well as the newest version.....I have tried numerous different usernames in case I was duplicating a username that was already taken...no luck

Are you using Windows 7 or Vista? If you haven't done the 'Run As Admin' thingie (right-click on the Razor or UO shortcuts) it may be blocking the program(s) from connecting, depending on your computer's security settings.

If the above helps - go to Properties under the right-click menu, click on Compatibility and check the box which goes something like 'Always Run As Administrator' (I'm not positive what it says, I still use XP).

There's a chance you don't even have connectivity to the server. Try going to http://portal.uoex.net and see if it loads. If it doesn't then that's your problem (and it's going to be a problem fixing it).

If the portal loads, then best if you send me an email to the address on the front page, write what username you're trying to login with, and also your IP. The IP you can get on this site: http://whatismyipaddress.com/
