Anyone can become a Council member. The candidate must gather 3 accreditations from Council members and 3 accreditations from non-council members. Once all accreditations are gathered, the candidate immediately gets the Council member status. Having an accreditation from an Administrator also gives you immediate Council member status, without any players having to accredit them.

In the future, we may limit candidacy to players who's account is older than 3 months.

Council Elder

This position used to be called Mayor of Excelsior. The Elder has the role of beeing the spokesperson of the players and of the Council. Staff will turn to the Elder mostly for questions about issues that concern gameplay and the community. They also should do their best to keep the community together.

Council Elder is elected every 3 months. The elections are held in the last 7 days of March, June, September and December. The elections may be postponed in case the Staff did not have time to organize them. A candidate may have a partner
